Training and Courses

Formal training and coursework is primarily offered by Dr. Hussong and the FJ Co-Lab through the UNC-CH Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. However, the FJ Co-LAb is strongly committed to public dissemination and training. We offer opportunities for training experiences in the form of workshops, public talks, interactions with print/social media, and workplace seminars (learn more).

Dr. Hussong will offer the following courses this Fall 2021.

We welcome inquiries from graduate students and postdoctoral fellows regarding training opportunities. Students from the School of Public Health, the School of Social Work, Rehabilitative Counseling, Physical Therapy, Maternal and Child Health, Psychiatry, Quantitative Methodology, and Education have all collaborated with Dr. Hussong and the Co-Lab over the years. Scholars of color are particularly encouraged to inquire.

For those interested in applying to the UNC-CH doctoral programs in clinical or developmental psychology who hope to work with the Co-Lab, see this list of FAQs.
