I am a second-year student in the Clinical Psychology program at UNC (graduated from the University of California Davis). Much of my research experience is centered around children’s development in different areas (e.g., cognitive, social, emotional) across various age groups and demographics. I am most interested in children’s emotion regulation development as it relates to risk and protective factors in the environment, especially regarding parenting. Currently, I am studying the relation between empathy and gratitude, and the role of parental sensitivity and gratitude socialization behaviors on how they develop over time.
